Christmas Future Topanga married Jack after Cory broke up with her because he though they were too different based on their Christmas traditions. Her kids opened the presents on Christmas Eve, but he compromised with Jack and got an aluminum tree.

After seeing her, Cory realized that Topanga wasn't being unreasonable and went back to his house to talk to her.
