Debbie is a student at John Adams High and a friend of Topanga's. She is very discouraged when Gary is too forward on their date, and asks Shawn why men act so obnoxious on dates. This inspires Cory to write his article, "Chick Like Me." After reading the article, she asks Shawn out knowing that he learned not to be so sleazy.
