The Feeny Residence is the home of George Feeny, situated next to the Matthews Residence.
History[]
George Feeny resided by himself in a suburban home in Philadelphia that was situated next to the Matthews Residence, where his student Cory lived with parents, Alan and Amy, his older brother Eric, and his younger sister Morgan.[1] In the yard were roses, specifically eglanteria floribundas, which were a fragile hybrid that Feeny meticulously cultivated over a few seasons. In 1993, Feeny paid Cory to paint some of his shutters. Shortly after, Feeny saw that the Matthews family was having a water fight in their backyard and yelled at them for getting water on his roses.[2]
