“ | Shawn: I can't believe Mr. Feeny actually missed a day of school. Cory: Well, you know who you can thank for that, don't you? Shawn: Zeus? Cory: Me! I wished for him to get sick, and he did. Shawn: You didn't wish for him to get sick. Cory: Sure, I did. Yesterday, when we weren't studying. Shawn: Even if you did, you can't make something happen just because you say it. Topanga: The power of the mind is not to be taken lightly, Shawn. Force of will is the most powerful weapon on Earth. [...] Cory: Minkus, you were all right in class this morning. When exactly did you start feeling terrible? Minkus: When I heard Mr. Feeny's in the hospital. Cory: The hospital? Sounds serious. Topanga: For Mr. Feeny and for you. Cory: Why me? Why's it serious for me? Topanga: Karma. What goes around comes around. Shawn: The hospital? Whoa, you are good. Cory: Me? I didn't do this. Shawn: You wished he would get sick. Cory: I didn't wish for him to get sick! Shawn: Sure, you did. Yesterday, when we weren't studying. Cory: Shawn, you said it yourself. Just because you want something to happen doesn't mean it's going to happen. |

Plot[]
When Cory and Shawn are stuck having to take a geography test they haven't remotely prepared for, Cory laments the fact that Feeny has never taken a paid sick day in his career and wishes his teacher would get sick the day of the test. When it actually happens, Cory is delighted and claims he has a superpower to make people sick. While Shawn scoffs, Topanga insists that the power of the mind should not be taken lightly.
But when Minkus says he's too worried about Feeny to trade insults with Shawn, Cory learns he went to the hospital. Now Shawn is afraid of Cory's "power," and Topanga warns him to expect karmic retribution. The combined stress causes him to have visions of Feeny haunting his dreams, telling him that Feeny died and is now a ghost.
Cory goes to visit Feeny to make sure he didn't die, giving him a geranium as a present. Heeding advice from his father, Cory thanks Feeny for being his teacher while he still has the chance. The two even share a "guy moment" regarding the pretty Nurse Jill. When he gets out of the hospital, Feeny plants the geranium, using it as a metaphor for Cory's growth.
In the end tag, Topanga gathers Minkus, Cory, and Shawn for a psychic experiment in the classroom. She holds a light bulb and instructs them to focus their psychic energy to make it glow without electricity. Cory and Shawn think this is ridiculous and make jokes. Minkus comes to Topanga's defense, declaring, "the only their selfish minds care about is seeing something they really want to see happen." Cory and Shawn look at each other and focus really hard, causing Minkus to vanish into thin air. While they applaud themselves, Topanga is confused because she was only looking at the bulb, which didn't light.
