Jefferson Elementary is the elementary school that Cory Matthews, Shawn Hunter, Topanga Lawrence and Stuart Minkus attended.
History[]
In the 1950s, Mrs. Rosemead began working at Jefferson Elementary as a librarian.[1] During the 1993-1994 school year, Cory Matthews and Shawn Hunter attended Jefferson Elementary as students of the sixth grade, where they were taught by George Feeny,[2][3] with Topanga Lawrence and Stuart Minkus as their classmates. During this year, the school intended to terminate Mrs. Rosemead's employment due to her old age, which caused protest among some of the students, who managed to get other students to sign a petition to prevent the school from doing so.[1]
