Stacy Hunter was the sister of Shawn Hunter who was known for using product to straighten her hair. When Cory Matthews wished to get rid of his "Brillo hair", Shawn asked Stacy what she used, and she provided him with product that Cory could use. Shawn later called Stacy from the Matthews Residence to inform her that Cory's head felt like it was burning for the last 45 minutes, to which Stacy told Shawn that Cory should've washed it out 45 minutes ago. She then admonished Cory, via Shawn, for leaving the product in that long and for not reading the label.[1]

- In Cory's Alternative Friends, Shawn is said to have an older sister named Stacy; however, future episodes would reveal that Shawn grew up as an only child and only has one sibling, in the form of older half-brother Jack Hunter. According to Shawn's actor Rider Strong, there was another character who was meant to be in this episode as Cory and Shawn's friend, and he was the one who had an older sister named Rochelle who could help change Cory's hair. However, when that actor was fired following a joke by Ben Savage, the character was eliminated and all of his lines were given to Shawn, which resulted in Shawn having an older sister for that one episode, with Rochelle being renamed as Stacy.[2]
